How Do I Meet People?

Trinity Lutheran Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother or grandfather, a busy parent, or a businessperson with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Children’s Ministry

Each Sunday morning at 9am, children get to participate in their own classes. Currently using the “Holy Moly” curriculum, our teachers invite kids into Bible lessons using a DVD of animated Bible story retellings, reinforce the lesson through the colorful pages of the Holy Moly Bible Storybooks and Connect Bible, and encourage creativity and imagination with Learner Leaflets that bring the stories to life. Children’s Ministry at Trinity Lutheran Church captures the imagination of kids by bringing the Bible to life.

At Trinity Lutheran Church, we believe that confirmation ministry is an opportunity for congregations to renew the vision of living by grace, grounded in baptism. This vision is especially important for ministry with young Christians. Through the re:form curriculum as well as interesting, exciting, and educational field trips and retreats, our confirmation ministry allows seventh and eighth grade students the opportunity to truly consider what it means to be part of this baptized community.

Youth Ministry

The years of middle school and high school are full of great joy and growth, both personally and spiritually, but they can also be quite overwhelming. Trinity Lutheran Church seeks to be a refuge for young people during this time, helping them to consider God’s word as it relates to the particular challenges that they face. Specifically, on the first and third Sunday evenings of the month, middle schoolers have the opportunity to gather for food, fellowship, and Bible study. And on Wednesday nights, high school students do the same. Additionally, seasonal events and annual summer trips give these students opportunities to deepen their relationships, further their faith, and serve their community.

Young Adults

Life can get complicated once you cross that nebulous threshold into adulthood. There are harder decisions. Bigger stakes. More serious relationships. And a whole lot more responsibility. The young adult group of Trinity Lutheran Church provides a welcoming atmosphere for college and early-career aged young people and their families.

Women’s Groups

The Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (WELCA) play a special role in the life of Trinity Lutheran Church. Not only do they organize and sponsor a number of events throughout the year, they also meet regularly in small groups or “circles” for fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and special projects. These groups provide an engaging and refreshing discipleship opportunity for all of the women involved.

Men’s Groups

Gather periodically throughout the year for fellowship and worship.

Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, there are opportunities for seniors at Trinity Lutheran Church. For example, the “Lunch Bunch” meets once a month to share a meal, ministry, and times of valuable interaction.
