Women of Trinity Fall Assembly for the West Conference—October 20th 9:00 a.m. in Founders Hall. Beth Nelson Chase, Bright Stars’ Executive Director speaks about Bright Stars of Bethlehem. This is a free event but please call the church office, 762-3624) to make a reservation so we order enough for the brunch.
 
October Adult Forums—Join us at 10:30 a.m. in Tillberg Lounge for video-based discussions on how we can create a more just society.  October 14: “Christian Responsibility” with Rachel Held Evans, October 21: “Educational Inequality” with Nicole Baker Fullgham, October 28: “A Christian Response” with Justin Welby.
 
Building UsagePlease be aware that Dave Behrens, our sexton, is on leave through October. Room set ups will require some extra planning, so please notify the church office ASAP if your meeting or event will require a special set up or equipment.
 
Blood Drive—Attention: blood donors – please do not give blood after October 7th so you will be eligible to donate for our winter drive Monday, December 3rd.
 
Support our College Students—Please submit the names and addresses of Trinity members or their immediate family who are college students to the church office by October 26th. Near mid-terms Member Care would like to remember them with a care package.
 
Trunk R Treat—Sunday, October 28th from 4:00-6:00pm. Bring your ghosts and goblins to Trinity for some safe Halloween fun.  Contact Amy Roehrs for details or to volunteer. Come enjoy the festivities, decorate your trunk and prepare to entertain fairies and fiends. There is an award for the best decorated trunk.
 
Trinity’s Church Council has moved it’s meeting time to the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. The next meeting is October 16th. As always, Trinity members are welcome to attend the meetings. Minutes of the meeting can be found on our website at www.tlcmoline.org/trinity-church-council/
 
Lunch Bunch—November 7th at 11:30 in Faith Hall. Join us for “Mr. Thanksgiving” presented by Bob Vogelbaugh. Menu: turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, fresh fruit, rolls/butter, and pumpkin bars. Reservations are $10.00 and may be made October 28th and November 4th during fellowship in Founders Hall. DeBord’s needs a reservation total the week before our meeting. Please sign up early. Church Office Hours/Submission Guidelines—The church office is open from 9:00—4:30 Monday through Thursday and is closed for lunch Monday-Thursday from noon to one and is closed on Fridays at 1:00.When submitting articles to the church office, please be sure to include your name and phone number in case we have questions. The deadline for the Trinity Visitor is the 2nd Monday of the month, i.e. November’s deadline is Monday, October 13th. Items for the bulletin announcements/ slideshow/ Friday Notes must be submitted by Monday each week. Send electronic submissions to danderson@tlcmoline.org
