Table Talk—Resumes Monday, January 14th, 6:30 p.m. at Parkside Grill & Lounge 2307 5th Ave. Moline. Join us for discussions of current events,  the Bible, and what it means for our faith and daily living.

Sundaes & Sardines—January 20th from 4:00—6:00 p.m. join our Sunday school for games of sardines and ice cream sundaes. Bring your favorite ice cream topping to share and be ready to be “IT”!
Lent Devotional—Are you one of those who faithfully writes for our devotional? Or is this the year you give it a try? Now’s the time to get started! We need about four paragraphs of reflection on a particular Bible passage that you choose. Devotions are due January 15th. This year’s focus is renewal in the church.  E-mail Jane Bahls soon for a copy of the devotional grid to see what passages are available, or to ask any questions you may have.

Habitat for Humanity—Come help feed the volunteers building a house in our community on January 19th. Contact Judy Rullman at 762-5173 to sign up or get more details.


Christmas Lights—We are still collecting and recycling strings of old Christmas lights in a special box by the Terracycle table just before you enter Founders Hall. These lights cannot be recycled in our city bins and are inappropriate for the landfill so pass the word to friends and family – let’s fill a box or three!  And, as always, thanks for recycling! 

Friendship Friday—Trinity members are wanted to spend time with our preschool crafting, talking, and having fun!  Come & Play! January 11th at 10:00 a.m.

Be Here Now: A Morning of Mindfulness Retreat—Saturday, February 2nd, 8:30 a.m.—Noon. Led by Pastor Richard Priggie, Augustana College Chaplain and Trinity member. Please save this date for a morning of fellowship and reflection. All are welcome, including men, women, and friends of Trinity. Fighting Hunger—Are you a regular donor to our local food bank? Do you participate in Trinity’s hunger drives? Do you believe that no one in our neighborhoods and cities should be hungry? First, if you do, thank you!  Secondly, you are almost a member of Trinity’s Hunger Team. Let’s make it official! We are looking for people with an interest in stopping hunger to join the team.
